I want to look at these owners' roles when it comes to the teams they own. This includes their hiring and firing techniques and trends, the interest (or lack there of) when it comes to taking care of players and fans, as well as their contributions to their team and community.
To start this blog officially I MUST comment on the recent decisions made in the Oakland Raiders' organization by owner Al Davis. The following article describes his decision:

This article shows first hand an owners involvement. However, I think this is negative. Who fires a coach 3 games into the season? Also, this is a major distraction for the franchise. A lot of internal affairs are handled just that way: INTERNALLY. Al Davis' lack of digression is not a good thing for a man of his stature and title.
